The
following pictures & explanations show some of materials &
construction techniques that are used in the construction of Ted
Harris Custom Cues. These techniques are used in an attempt
to provide the best hitting and finest constructed cue made today.
The joints
pins are 3/8 x 7.5 radial. Radial pins allow for more
contact between the shaft & the pin, providing a more solid
hit than standard wood to wood joints. Because of the
precise manufacturing tolerances of the radial pin, they can be
inserted into the butt & shaft more precisely. This also
allows all shafts to be interchangeable with all butts.

This one is brass, and
is polished to a high finish.

This one is stainless, and is
also polished to a high finished. Note the construction
technique of the joint; a thin walled stainless steel joint over
black phenolic.

This shows construction of the
joint with the ivory also being sleeved over black phenolic.

This is the Ted Harris logo on
an ivory butt plate with double brass rings.
